Six for President
Yesterday I made one of my always futile attempts to get down to actual tile on the kitchen counter. I don't know why I do this so rarely, since I always turn up some unexpected treasure (no, not the tile).
This time, it's one of the little books that Six made and brought home from kindergarten. It's titled, If I Were President, and each of its 3 pages has a space for a drawing and asks for completion of a sentence which begins "If I were President...."
I don't have a scanner, so we'll have to settle for text only today (the italicized words are Six's deathless prose).
If I were President, the first thing I would do is be nice.
If I were President, I would eat chicken nuggets. [The nuggets he drew are green.....]
If I were President, I would travel to a place with cats.
Now, I ask you. Wouldn't you vote for Six?
