conversation 101: not only did it really happen today, but it happens a lot
"Mom, MOM! Is anybody sleeping in my room?"
"Why do you ask?"
"I want to go there."
"Why?"
"To get something."
"What?"
"Something to play with."
"What?"
"A box."
[Ok, I don't actually care at this point, but now it's a challenge.]
"What box?"
"A brown box."
"What is the brown box for?"
[As you will see, adding syntax does NOT help.]
"To play with."
"To play what with?"
"A brown box game."
"What brown box game?"
"The one with the box in my room."
[And so on.]

Yay for one of my hero moms and for Five and Seven--soon to be reunited forever.
Your blog (like your life, I'm imagining) is wicked-funny and brilliant---never dull!
Praying blessings on your expanding family and its members. May you change the world one child at a time.

You are so sweet. But I'm not a hero mom. Nope. Or not the only one. All moms qualify as heroes in my book. It's an incredibly complex, challenging, difficult (joyous, funny, aggravating) job--no matter how you do it, who you do it with, or how many kids you have.
So back at ya!
